How Can You Make Your Social Media Stand Out?
Pick the Appropriate Colors
You do not have to use the same colors as your logo or website when creating each graphic to post. It is okay to branch out and use vibrant colors that match your potential message. When creating a graphic that describes your brand in a professional way, we recommend using your brand’s colors. Other than that, feel free to catch your followers' attention with bright colors. Either way, make your colors balance with each other so each graphic doesn’t overwhelm your audience and give them the wrong idea.
Choose the Correct Fonts
Choosing at least two or three consistent fonts can help with brand identity. Use fonts that are easy to read and desirable to your audience; never choose something so complicated that it is hard to read. If you would like to use two different fonts in one graphic, make sure they go together, and one line of text is smaller than the other. Having two large pieces of text in two different fonts can be overwhelming.
Properly Choose Your Text
When adding text to a graphic, choose at least one or two lines of text. Adding a full paragraph could be harder for your followers to read on a mobile device. Shorten what you want to say or add the extra text in the description text below your post. You can even create different graphics to space out what you’re trying to say.
Use A Call To Action
When creating a graphic, you want your audience to be convinced to use your services. Creating a call to action will help encourage users to take the action you desire.
Create Contrast
You want your brand to stand out, so do so with your graphics. Don’t overcomplicate your content; just make it unique. Each company is different and has a different story, so show your audience that with your graphics. Get them to want to choose your brand over another just because it looks appealing.
Add Enough Information
Adding information about your brand can gain attention from future customers. What do you do that others don’t? How can a customer benefit from choosing your brand overall? Give them just enough information to pique their interest and make them want to dig further. Making it hard for them to know what your brand is about and its mission could make someone move in a different direction.
